Mountain Cabin Oval 30", RFM

2D Mountain Cabin Oval by Michael J. Krob.  This wall piece is created entirely by hand from raw steel. The dimensions are approximately 30"W x 20"H. Even though the artist follows the same style of creation, each new fabrication will be a one of a kind.

Rhythmic hand grinding creates striations and visual movement. The scorched art is colored with a torch creating layers of differing color that enhance each scene.  A special clear coat is applied to the metal to protect it from the elements without affecting the steel's pliability, and then baked to perfection.

The pieces can be ordered in a 24" or 40" oval option as well.
