Winter Solstice Blue and Purple by Michael J. Krob. This wall piece is created entirely by hand from raw steel. The dimensions are approximately 34"W x 22"H. Even though the artist follows the same style of creation, each new fabrication will be a one of a kind. COLOR TREATED.

Rhythmic hand grinding creates striations and visual movement. A see through colorant is painted on to enhance the grinding in the back ground and another layer of hand grinding creates depth to the desired design. The special colorant gives this masterpiece a real wow factor.

A special clear coat is applied to the metal to protect it from the elements without affecting the steel's pliability, and then baked to perfection.
