Rocky Mountain Trio LG, RFM

The Rocky Mountain Trio by Michael J. Krob.  This triptych is created entirely by hand from raw steel. The dimensions are approximately 34"W x 41"H. Even though the artist follows the same style of creation, each new fabrication will be a one of a kind.

Rhythmic hand grinding creates striations and visual movement. The scorched art is colored with a torch creating layers of differing color that enhance each scene.  A special clear coat is applied to the metal to protect it from the elements without affecting the steel's pliability, and then baked to perfection.

Do you like more vibrant color?  You can request your piece to be color treated.  All 'Finer Gallery Art' pieces can be made with special paint giving your masterpiece a wow factor. The see through colorant enhances the grinding in the background and another layer of hand grinding creates the desired design.
