"Large Galaxy" by Scott Garrelts is a sculptural blown glass piece that shows a galaxy of colors and forms.  The colors are made by combining spiraled dichroic glass with a dark background, encased in clear glass. Dichroic glass contains micro metal flakes which allow the glass to become iridescent and shimmer, shifting colors as the lighting or angle of view shifts.. Slightly egg shaped, with a window to look down the center of his galaxy, this large size is about 8" in diameter for $1068.
